Here's to 26!

26 years ago, two twin boys were born at 27 weeks weighing not even 3 lbs. The doctor's didn't know if they would make it.   They thought if they did make it they would have alot of health problems throughout their life, or possibly be disabled. With lots of prayer, priesthood blessing, and faith these two continued to develop.  They had problems the first few years and were in and out of the hospital with sicknesses but other then that they continued to grow like normal little boys. This was indeed a miracle, these twins were little fighters. Today I'm very grateful that my husband was one of those little fighters that fought and lived so he could be apart of our family.
Happy Birthday Kyler! (yesterday) We love you so much and are so grateful for you and all you do for us, you take such good care of us!
Here's to the best husband and father...and here's to 26!

It all started with Love!

                                                             First comes LOVE!

                                                        Then...comes marriage!
                               Then...comes a Baby in a baby carriage!
                                                 And...it all started with LOVE!!

Hope everyone had a great valentines day surrounded by lots of love!

Summer Sick!

Kyler is now an applicant for the nursing program.   It has been a very stressful, busy couple of weeks.  He got all his paperwork together, has been studying like crazy for the hesi, and his math test (he had to pass out of) All of his hard work paid off.  It hasn't been easy all the studying and one test after another and getting all the things he needed, plus taking Anatomy and Micro this semester on top of that.  So we're pretty relieved we are done with that and we should know before Spring break if he gets in, keep your fingers crossed!  You can bet we will be keeping ours crossed!  I'm so proud of him!

On another note...I'm summer sick.  It has been nice the past few days (but today it's windy and it is suppose to snow) and we've gone to the park and have been playing outside and I decided I'm so ready for summer.  (Not that I'm ungrateful for this season, I'm just ready for a little warmer weather and to actually play outside!)

I'm ready to play in the sun, go to the park, and play outside!
I want to wear some of these!  I want to wear shorts and I'm ready for some bright colors!
I want to go swimming and eat pop cycles, snow cones and grill!

I want to plant flowers, and have green grass, no school for Kyler, camping, family trips!

Summer please come soon!

B is for...

                                                      Baking!
                                                  Buttering!
                                                     Braxten!
                                                           Boys!
                          Before!
                                                     After
                                                       Bath time!

                                                      Books!
So this past week I've done lots of new baking including wheat bread and cinnamon rolls for the first time in my new kitchen-aid I got for Christmas. I've had a little helper as well.  I am pleased to say they both turned out yummy.  My bread wasn't the prettiest on the outside but the inside tasted great!  There will definitely be plenty more baking of these delicious items!

Braxten loves bath time.  He can now say bath and gets so excited. He also loves reading books. (or flipping through pages I should say) I always find him in his room doing this.  He has become quite the independent little boy...who knew he could have such a personality.  He wants to do things by himself and gets mad when I try to help with certain things.  Braxten and Benji have become best buddies, he will pull his hair and crawl all over him and he just lays there.  I'm sure every time Braxten goes outside he thinks "Oh No!"
Well that's enough B's for one night...now off to bed to watch American Idol!
